Scream

FINALLY THE ENTRY FOR SCREAM(1)
so... basically on these pages I'm going to provide a breif(hopefully) summary of the movie aswell as whom I believe did each one of the killings(on the movies where there are more than one killer) Then I'll provide my two cents on each main(ish) character and my opinion on the motives from each(if theres more than one) killer.

The original scream movie was made to be a parody of the stupidity of other horror movies, and it ended up surpassing expectations by a lot. The opening scene for scream(1) starts with Casey the (very)stereotypical dumb blonde(again its a parody), who is making herself popcorn so she can watch a movie. The phone begins ringing so she picks it up and begins having a conversation with some mysterious person(the killer). Now later on it's revealed that Stu(the less dominate killer) had previously dated Casey, but she had dumped him for her current boyfriend Steven Orth, or 'steve'. When Casey finally realizes that the person she's talking to isn't really someone she.. probably wants to talk to.. She goes to hang up before being threatened, and then is attacked(I may be remembering wrong, she may have not been attacked till later but wtv point stands), she begins threatening the person on the phone that her boyfriend Steve is "big and he plays football" and will beat them up if they try and harm her. Of course though the killer anticipated that and Casey turns on the patio lights to see her boyfriend tied up and bleeding in a chair directly infront of her, being held hostage, his life being threatened. The killer tells Casey that they're going to play a trivia game for steves life(so fun!) and for the final question he asks her who the killer in Friday the 13th is. She answers how most movie fans would and says Jason Vorhees uh but unfortunately if you've seen the original(terrible movie by the way I don't reccommend it, but it is a classic so like watch it at least once in your life and THEN I don't recommend it.) you know that the ORIGINAL killer was Ms Vorhees, Jasons mother, who attacks the camp leaders out of rage and revenge for her deceased son. Due to her failing to correctly answer that question, the killer guts Steve. And by gut I'm speaking literally, his intestins end up.. not internal. Casey is mortified and sobbing before the killer enters to finish her off. She runs for a bit but is ultimately caught and stabbed, directly in the throat, but not the jugular. This actually causes for a genuinely devastating scene of her seeing her parents finally arrive home, and she desperately screams for help, but to no avail as her vocal cords had been severed, and she just watches them walk away from her as she fears for her life. More detail with her parents happen but eventually and importantly it ends with her mother stepping outside and discovering her daughting hanging from a tree, having also been gutted.
Now typically you would think that Stu had commited this as based on the level of disorder from it, it apears a choreographed rage killing. This is also backed considering Steve was targeted first which would appeal to Stu's (unconfirmed)motive for this particular killing, or anger after being left for Steve. However later on in the film it is said that Stu had been with his girlfriend Tatum the entire night, whilst Billy was unaccounted for until LATER in the night, personally, this leads me to believe that the two had been discussing a good starting or practice kill or so and Stu requested it be Casey, as he was bitter and she would be easy to kill due to her size and the large open layout of her home and property, as well as the neighbors living far away(which we see in the film). Therefore I believe Billy commited this particular killing, before changing and going over to Sidneys house, whilst Stu was with Tatum,

Uh uh first non-opening scene scene..? So we open to a shot of ms SIDNEY PRESCOTT(the official icon of the Scream movies(at least the first 4) and leading lady!) sitting in her room on her computer I believe just kind of existing before she hears a noise and goes to her window to investigate it!(so smart Sidney!!) when her boyfriend Billy Loomis enters her room via the window causing her to scream in..shock? which causes her father to go to her room to check in on her. Billy ducks behind her bed and hides whatever this scene is uh.. interesting... ITS IMPORTANT BUT I DONT CARE TO TALK ABOUT IT. Important details from it is that we learn Sidneys father is going on a trip out of town and will be staying at the hilton at the airport.
